Ian McAuley is a C-suite executive and corporate director whose career spans more than three decades in Canada and the USA across publicly-traded and privately-held commercial real estate companies with a focus on hospitality and seniors housing. As a corporate board member, Ian has held a variety of positions, including Audit, Investment, Governance, Operations,and Finance committees.

He is a long-standing board member of Northern Vision Development LP, a former member of Hilton Hotels Advisory Board, a 2 term member of the board of the Hotel Association of Canada, and a former board member of Airline Hotels and Resorts, Continuum Health Care, and Hallmark Properties. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto - ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. Beyond his business accomplishments, Ian is passionate about culture, community, and mentorship.

His current board position with Against the Grain Theatre, and his tenure as a former member of the board of directors of both Theatre Calgary and The Musical Stage Company reflects his dedication to the arts and his belief in nurturing Canada's creative landscape. As a musician, Ian has performed on international stages with world-class musicians across many genres, including classical, jazz, rock, bluegrass, and traditional Celtic music.
