Jason is the Managing Partner of ICON Capital, a mortgage brokerage and advisory firm that specializes in hotels. He is a consummate real estate professional who provides honest insight to guide owners in making informed real estate investment and development decisions.

Jason launched ICON Capital with Salim Gulamani in 2021. ICON Capital focuses on hotel owners who require advisory services as well as mortgage brokering. He has established himself as a respected hotel real estate expert and has formed diverse relationships with real estate lenders, owners, developers, and service providers. Jason's clients and contacts rely on him for expert analysis and information about the hotel sector, giving him and ICON Capital an advantage in the lending marketplace.

Jason’s career began on the “front lines” of the hotel industry in a range of positions. Following the completion of his university education, Jason joined HVS Canada where he spent over 13 years and worked on projects in more than 100 markets across Canada and the US. This is where his passion for hotels merged with his love for the real estate industry.
