Juan joined CWB Franchise Finance in June 2022. He works closely with hotel investors and owners to provide debt financing whether they are building a new hotel, purchasing an existing hotel asset, re-financing or repositioning a hotel to increase value. Previously, Juan was Director of Development at Choice Hotels Canada, where he was responsible for the growth of the company’s franchisee network and brand presence in Western Canada. Before joining Choice, Juan held roles at Thomas Consultants (now part of Deloitte) and HVS, where he focused on asset valuations, appraisals and feasibility studies. He’s been in the hospitality industry since his early 20’s having worked in operations at several hotels in downtown Toronto and with experience in revenue management. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Hospitality and Tourism and a minor in Finance from Toronto Metropolitan University.
