Sahad Kassam is a Partner at Synvest Capital, where he leads the asset management function, overseeing the operational and financial performance of the company’s real estate portfolio. Sahad co-steers Synvest's strategic expansion efforts, which include acquisitions, redevelopment projects, and the transformation of underutilized properties.

Currently, Sahad oversees a portfolio of 10 operating hotels, as well as various retail, multifamily, industrial, and mixed-use properties, including the conversion of a 100-year-old office building into a 73-room boutique hotel in Downtown Vancouver.

Prior to joining Synvest, Sahad held various roles at Marriott International, Coast Hotels, and other independent hotel operators in Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in Hotel Administration from the University of Guelph, a certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments & Asset Management from Cornell University, and is completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation from the University of British Columbia.
